Technifibre Black Code: Polyester String of the Year 2009
The monofilament high performance BLACK CODE string (gauge 1.24mm) made by Technifibre was chosen as the 'Polyester String of the Year 2009" in the survey organised by the Internet tennis specialist site saitenforum.de. This well-known German site releases the results of an annual test carried out by numerous testers worldwide. The testers review each year the newest and most well known products according to each string criteria.
The Black Code String had already received best scores in Tennis Magazine Germany for power, control, feeling and comfort categories. Due to its specific "Thermo Core" process, the Technifibre Black Code brings unbeatable sensations in terms of touch and comfort, something which was, up until now the main disadvantage of the polyester family.

The Black Code is available in 1.18mm, 1.24mm and 1.28mm gauges and will also be available in 1.32 mm in mid-2010. The string has been played on the high-level ATP tour since its creation at the start of 2009.
